Former Director – International operations with Ashok Leyland Ltd, one of the largest commercial vehicles manufactures in India.Vice Chairman of the Indian Diesel Manufacturer Association, Member of the CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) International Networking Forum. Received the Top exporter Award from EEPC ( Engineering and Export Council of India- A Govt of India enterprise) for Four Consecutive years from 2008 to 2011.
Has travelled extensively around the world and has wide experience in Export /import of goods and services, supply chain management, Production planning, Finance , Exim line of credit, Human resources, service, parts, and Logistics.
A seasoned sales & marketing professional with over 35 years’ experience in senior positions at two MNCs, Hindustan Unilever and Shaw Wallace (now UB/Diageo). Specialised in Tea, coffee and Liquor manufacturing and distribution. Besides this he is a professional blender. He has wide international business experience in food and industrial raw materials. He has gained experience in media in setting up Worldspace satellite radio and start-ups in the beverage and restaurantindustry. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Madras Christian College, PG Dip in Industrial & Buss Mgmt. and also in Export Mgmt. from UK.
